24 hour access computers in the Barr Smith Library

The 24 hour access computers are located near the entrance to the Barr Smith Library.

Entry is by swipe card (using your student ID Card) from the Library entrance foyer.

The computers in the 24 hour access area are configured as a Science student computer suite, with specialist science software.

From time to time, the 24hr suite may be unavailable due to use by the Faculty of Science - or the Library - for teaching purposes. Notices are posted for these times.

Printing

The black-and-white Canon printer in the 24hr suite uses the University student print quota.

If you have problems with printing, ITS Student Support is available from the Barr Smith Library Research Help desk between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
For help outside these hours, please call the ITS Help desk from the telephone hotline in the 24 hour computer suite (8am - 6pm, weekdays only).

Note: The Library is not responsible for maintaining printers operating on the student print quota.

Access to toilets after Library opening hours

All students have after hours swipe access with their ID card to toilets in the Union Building (level 4).  University Security staff may be able to assist if requested.
