Exam papers - how to find them
The Library digitises any exam papers received (excluding embargoed exam papers) and makes them available via the catalogue and Summon. How to find past exam papers
You can find the exam papers that the Library has digitised by searching the Library Catalogue or Summon.
In the Library catalogue:
- Select Exam Papers in the Limit: box
- In the Search box, type in a keyword/s from the course name (eg psychology), or part of the course code eg PSYCHOL 6029; click the Search button
- Exam papers are in pdf format and will open in Adobe Acrobat (staff and students will need to authenticate with their University ID and password)
In Summon:
- Type keywords in the search box, including the keywords 'exam papers' (eg psychology exam papers) or the course code; hit Search Library or the Go button
Can't find your exam paper?
The main reasons why an exam paper may not be available are:
- Your lecturer has not sent the exam paper to the Library for digitising
- There may not have been exam papers for your subject in previous years
- The School does not want them made available to students (that is, exam papers are 'under embargo')
If you can't find the exam paper you want, you should ask your lecturer or School for advice.
Other options
Department websites - several University Departments provide past exam papers on their websites. Ask your lecturer or tutor for assistance, if required.
