Typescript copy, and correspondence re proposed
publication of the Memoirs, the deposit of copies with
libraries in Canberra, Oxford and Cambridge, and comments from
colleagues and friends on the manuscript, 1975-1976.
"These Memoirs are an edited and typed version from the unexpurgated handwritten originals which were destroyed. They are unpublished but copies have been distributed only to my sons and 3 libraries. This is no. 3 of 6 copies. Travelling back was derived from the memoirs."

"Speaking Personally" created a certain interest and led Sir Walter to write Travelling back.]
