How to use the Illustration Index to Australian ArtIllustration Index to Australian Art is an index to the many reproductions of Australian artists which have been used as illustrations in books on the arts and in major exhibition catalogues. Information is given, when known, concerning the medium of the original, whether it is in colour or black/white, and the page or other reference number in the text where the reproduction occurs.
Search by artistClick on the initial letter of the artist's last name: Search by titleFirst you'll need to download the complete file of Illustration Index to Australian Art entries [1179K]. You can then use this file to do a title search by using the Find function on your browser. Sample entry
