Alan Keig

I am a Research Librarian in the Barr Smith Library at the University of Adelaide and am responsible for French Studies, Philosophy, English, Linguistics and Media.

I also oversee the production of a range of Library guides describing the collections, the resources and the services we offer.
In addition, I am responsible for most of the Library's publications.

You can find me in the Research Librarians' area on Level 3 South

oh, yes ... and I've always had a burning desire to be a librarian. [Sorry!]

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide in 1967, majoring in French, Philosophy and English, and completed Honours English at Flinders University.
I've worked as a professional librarian at the State Library of South Australia and the Flinders University Library, before beginning my career at the Barr Smith Library in 1977.
