Professor Rob NormanThe fifth talk in the University of Adelaide's Research Tuesdays seminar series was held on Tuesday, 14 August.

Professor Robert Norman is Director of the Research Centre for Reproductive Health in the School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health. He provides expertise in human and animal reproduction and is particularly interested in assisted reproductive technology.

Synopsis: We are in the middle of a reproductive revolution that is changing the way we think about fertility and social aspects of families. We have also developed new technologies in stem cells that will affect regenerative medicine. Are our technologies in reproduction too far ahead of the social consequences and ethical decisions found in our society?
