Marni Wingku: Good Spirit/Breath in Kaurna

Marni Wingku is an educational program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in years 8-12, run by Wirltu Yarlu Aboriginal Education at the University of Adelaide.

The program provides students with the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities which are designed to introduce them to specific areas of study and how the skills they have learned through the activities can be applied to different career pathways.

Participation is free to all students and school staff, with lunch provided.

This year’s workshops are hosted by the following disciplines;

  • CASM
  • IT & Engineering
  • Law
  • Media
  • Oral Health
  • Science

Attending students will receive a goodie bag and have the opportunity to win some great prizes; including a signed Port Power guernsey, one of 5 Apple iPads, and much more.
