MLC Handouts
The Maths Learning Centre provides the following handouts for your elucidation.
Example Cheat Sheet for Applications of Quantitative Methods in Finance exam.
You are encouraged to make your own cheat sheet for exams in this course. It is your responsibility to check the exam regulations (note 2, para. 4) about what sort of cheat sheet you are allowed in your exam and that your cheat sheet complies with those regulations.
The following sample cheat sheet has been prepared by the Maths Learning Centre as an example.
Please note:
- This cheat sheet has been approved, provided that you print it at full size, double-sided on a single sheet of A4 paper.
- You may make hand written notes on it as well.
- Warning: the information in this sheet may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- No responsibility is taken by the university for errors arising from the use of this sheet in your exam.

Working with Statistics
A flowchart of the process of working with statistics in research. Lists various questions you should ask yourself in order to be sure of choosing the right statistical procedure. Attached is further explanation and examples including a description of the different types of variables in statistics.
