Numeracy Diagnostic
In your MyUni course, there is a link to the Numeracy Diagnostic test. This test is designed to highlight the mathematical skills you will need for a Health Sciences degree, and to direct you to further resources to help you improve these skills. You can access the online resources directly below.
We recommend that you try the test, and then follow the links to the online resources. If you want to talk more about the test or anything in the online resources, then come to the Maths Learning Centre Drop-In Room in Hub Central. It will be useful to bring a printout of your test, but even without it, the staff will help you with the skills you need.
Online Resource for Health Sciences Maths Skills
The HSBridge is an online module which was created jointly by the MLC and the faculty of Health Sciences. It was designed to refresh the mathematical skills used in Level 1 Bachelor of Health Sciences courses. Topics include working with numbers, working with decimals and scientific notation.
