The School of Molecular and Biomedical Science was formed in June 2002 to coordinate and consolidate the University’s cutting edge and world-class research and teaching in the disciplines of Genetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology & Immunology and Physiology. Nearly 500 people comprise the research, teaching and support staff, postgraduates and honours students of the School.
