Industry & Research
The School has a strong commitment to commercialisation of intellectual property developed in house.
Dr Paul Tolstoshev joined the School as Commercialisation Manager in August 2004. The School, Bioinnovation SA and Adelaide Research and Innovation jointly fund his appointment. Dr Tolstoshev has many years of experience in the Biotechnology industry and is the first point of contact for information about commercialisation opportunities with the School.
Postdoctoral & Sabbatical Opportunities
The School welcomes persons interested in Postdoctoral and Sabbatical opportunities. Individuals should in the first instance contact relevant academic staff to discuss opportunities.
Partnering with Molecular & Biomedical Science
The School welcomes you to take this opportunity to consider a partnership with us.
While our environment may be challenging, our performance is of world standard. A recent national benchmarking study ranked us a top performer for our disciplines in Australia, and both Molecular Biosciences and Physiology (the two Departments which merged to form the School of Molecular & Biomedical Science) were also two of the best performing Departments in the University last year on a range of measures. We earn more than $12.8m per year in external, competitive research grant funds, and recruit the very highest calibre students into our internationally regarded research training programs.
We are offering the opportunity to establish invaluable and mutually rewarding relationships while assisting our School to foster its teaching and research into the new millennium. A partnership can be attained by a variety of approaches, which will build upon our complementary strengths and needs.
We invite you to consider funding activities that may lead to enhanced business and recruitment prospects as well as opportunities for cutting-edge technological advances. To gain more information we have outlined a variety of partnership options in the Partnering Booklet provided.
