Postgraduate research projects currently available

We are interested in potential PhD applications in any of the areas of our current research programs. Please use the links in the left toolbar to find out more about our current research project areas. Although the listed Honours projects are intended for short-term (1 year) research projects, in most cases we can suggest expansions on these suitable for a PhD program.

Because our research crosses the discipline boundaries between physiology, computer science and engineering, we can tailor projects to a broad range of interests. Current research projects might suit either biological sciences graduates seeking training in advanced elctrophysiological and anatomical techniques, or engineering / computer sciences graduates seeking experience in applying their skills to novel bio-inspired applications  for bionics and artificial vision systems.
