Projects

Specific research projects underway in my laboratory involve:

  1. Analysis of the microbial ecology of the food-borne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes, and the implications of cell-cell interactions with amoebae and ciliated protozoans for long term survival and protection from chemical inhibitors and sanitisers,
  2. Characterisation of copper homeostasis in L. monocytogenes and implications for virulence and survival in the environment.
  3. Public health significance of marine vibrios associated with commercially important shellfish.
  4. Collaborative programs involving predictive modelling are described in this link.

Use the navigation on the side side-bar to browse my research project descriptions, or use the embedded links in the text above.
