Postgraduate research projects currently available

The Shearwin laboratory is interested in enquiries from any potential PhD applicants for projects in research areas described on these pages.

We have projects available which aim to understand the mechanistic basis of gene control in both natural and rationally designed biological circuits. We aim to use a wide range of techniques, including mathematical modelling, biochemical, genetic, biophysical and structural approaches.
