Launch of the Centre
On 2 October 2007, the Freemasons Foundation Centre for Men's Health was launched at The Art Gallery of SA. Approximately 200 people gathered together to celebrate the achievement of establishing this ground breaking research centre.
The guest-of-honour for the night was Sir James Hardy OBE. The SA Minister for Health, the Hon John Hill MP spoke. The Adelaide Male Voice Choir entertained and inspired us with their music. Mr Phil Smyth, AM, Head Coach of the Adelaide 36ers was the emcee for the evening. Professor James A. McWha, Vice Chancellor and President of The University of Adelaide was the official host and welcomed everyone. Mr Graham Bollenhagen, Grand Master of the SA/NT Freemasons spoke as did Professor Gary Wittert, Head of the School of Medicine, The University of Adelaide.
