Adelaide Microscopy, formally known as the Centre for Electron Microscopy and Microstructure Analysis (CEMMSA) was created in 1991 when The University of Adelaide brought together its Electron Beam Instrumentation and associated Sample Preparation equipment to be collocated in one centre.
Adelaide Microscopy is located in the ground and basement levels of the Medical School Building North on Frome Rd and now offers not only the latest in electron beam techniques but also optical, confocal, multiphoton, in vivo, live cell and x-ray imaging techniques. Adelaide Microscopy also has a Waite facility which gives researchers at the Waite Campus immediate access to high end microscopy techniques.
Our expert staff offer consultancy services in a diverse range of microscopy and microanalysis applications. Adelaide Microscopy staff are among the best in their field and understand the need for fast turnaround times for industry problem solving and reliable, accurate analysis.
The centre's state of the art equipment and extensive professional experience assures clients complete confidence in the analysis of nanostructures of biological and non-biological materials.
