Fees & Charges

All major instrumentation at Adelaide Microscopy is charged on an hourly basis.

The amount of financial subsidy depends on the funding source for the individual and not their status (eg. university staff consulting for industry pays corporate rate). We encourage users to operate the instruments themselves however an Adelaide Microscopy staff member can be availaible for an additional $70/hr to the hourly rate. Technical assistance is provided free of charge at all times. A sliding scale of subsidy is offered to all government funded research, the categories are:

• Student of The University of Adelaide $20/hr

• Student of another Institution $80/hr

• Research Staff of The University of Adelaide $40/hr

• Research Staff of another Institution $80/hr

• Corporate $260/hr
