This lesson will show you how to make your reference(s) available in MyUni course. We are assuming that you have already lodged your reading list or individual reference(s) to the Digital Resources Management Centre (DRMC) for entry to the Online Content Database.

You start with the notification received from the DRMC. This may be an email notification for individual items you have requested to be logged by the DRMC or email notification that your reading list has been added to Online Content either in part or in total. You now have to activate these files as follows
Log into MyUni and locate your course and choose the area you want your references to appear in. For most people this will be Course Information, Course Documents, Assignments or Course Material. However it can be any area where you are able to add content.
1. We have chosen Course Material
2. Please ensure Edit Mode is ON
3. Click on Add Interactive Tool Menu and reveal the pop down menu. Choose Online Content
1. There are other types of searches but please start with Quick Search
2. Search for your reference(s) using keywords containing the name of the author, the article or chapter title. To search for an exact string enclose keywords in double quotes as illustrated above.
When you have found your reference click on the "Activate or View Details" link
You only want Part1 so you press the "Activate and Add" Button as indicated.
1. Check carefully here to ensure the correct part of your reference is activated
2. Check that the make live dates are correct
3. Press Activate and Add button
Check and Import:
1. Check that 1 item has been selected
2. Click on the Import Selected Resources Button
You can now activate and add multiple items before importing them into MyUni
1. Check the box/es next to the item/s
2. Click on Activate Selected button
1. Carefully check you have the correct reference and
2. Check the available dates are as you want them
3. Click on the Activate and Add button
If you have all your resources:
1. Check that the correct number of resources are selected
2. Click the Import Selected Resources button and these resources will appear in your course
If you want to continue to search and activate and add skip step 2 and
3. Click the Back button or
4. Click on Choose by > Basic Search
Select your required result and Click on Click to Activate or View details
1. Carefully check you have the correct reference and
2. Check the available dates are as you want them
3. Click on the Activate and Add button
If you have all your resources:
1. Check that the correct number of resources are selected
2. Click the Import Selected Resources button and these resources will appear in your course
This is what your copyright material will look like in your course.
Choose the small drop down menu to the right of the item you want to edit. Choose Edit
