Copying and Merging/Combining Courses
-
How do I merge courses?
Instructors can nominate multiple courses that can be combined into a single
course in MyUni where student cohorts are usually taught together or where
off-shore course content is identical to local content (eg for SIT). To register
a request for a course combination please submit a request via the following webform.
Details about merged courses are stored in the Student Administration System
and uploaded into MyUni every night from Monday to Friday.

How do I copy a course?
You may wish to copy course material from one course to another. You can copy
individual items within a course using the 'copy' button that appears next
to each item when in Control Panel or 'Edit View'. If you wish to copy an entire
course contents into another course the most efficient way is to send a request
to MyUni Helpdesk (08) 8303 3335 or e-mail helpdesk@adelaide.edu.au.
You will need to provide the following information:
- the course ID and name of the 'source' course
- the course ID and name of the 'destination' course

What is my course ID?
Every course in MyUni has a unique course code as well as a descriptive course
name. The course code is a very important piece of information. Make sure you
have it ready every time you call helpdesk with a MyUni query. You can find
the course code in the heading of the Control Panel in your course.
e.g. 2910_maths_1101 = a 2009 Semester 1 first year maths course
