System Failure


What affects do system failures (eg. computer freezing, internet disconnection, network failure, etc.) have during a quiz?

If the "Multiple Attempts" option has been disabled then most types of system failures will result in an undertaken quiz being counted as completed, even if the quiz was not actually completed and a submission was not made. However, if the "Multiple Attempts" option has not been disabled, and a student previews or undertakes a quiz, then most types of system failures will result in a red exclamation mark or question mark appearing in the Grade Center next to that particular student. Instructors who choose to enable the "Multiple Attempts" option are advised to use the results from a student's first completed quiz in the Grade Center for assessment purposes.
