Three levels of face to face training are available. 'Intro to MyUni'
and 'Effective Use of MyUni' are offered approximately twice a month by ITS
training. 'Strategies for Online Learning' sessions are
run on a
request basis by CLPD Online

Intro To MyUni
3.5 hour hands on workshop covering
- Login and navigate through the MyUni home page.
- Understand the structure, tools and features of the MyUni home page.
- Access a course in which they are teaching or involved in (other than
at a student level).
- Change settings to customise the look and structure of a course.
- Elect whether to use various features of a course in MyUni.
- Add various forms of electronic material to a course.
- Identify areas of support for pedagogical or technical enquiries.

Effective Use of MyUni
3.5 hour hands on workshop covering
- Create a discussion board, add and reply to threads, collect and view
threads.
- Create a quiz in MyUni, define quiz settings, add questions and deploy
a quiz.
- View and add items in the gradebook, weight assessment items.
- Create, submit, view and mark an assessment.
- Understand how to install Respondus software.
- Open and edit a quiz in Respondus, publish a Respondus quiz in MyUni.
- Create a sequential learning unit, add files and items.

These workshops or information sessions are run on a request basis.
Note that we will need a minimum of 5 participants for a workshop.
