Collaborate Voice tool- Contribute to a Voice Presentation

This guide shows how to listen to and contribute to a voice presentation

Preparation

Plug a 3.5mm analogue headset with both microphone and headphones into the correct ports on your computer.
Note - if your computer has a inbuilt microphone and speaker built in and the are functioning then you don't need a headset.

Successfully pass the Backboard voice setup wizard: CLICK HERE TO CHECK

If the setup wizard is unsuccessful then review the System Requirements for Blackboard Collaborate Voice Authoring :Here

1. Select the content area where the voice presentation resides then select Enter Voice Presentation

2. Select Slide then Select Play to listen to the post
The webpage should load in the main content area to the right of the audio player column.

3. Select Comment

Create a comment

4. Select the red record button then speak into your microphone to record the voice message

5. Select stop to finish the recording.

6.Select green play button to listen and confirm recording.
[Optional] Add written text

7. Select Post.

Create a new slide

8. Select New

Create a voice presentation slide

9.Provided a subject.

10.Provide a URL

11. Select the red record button then speak into your microphone to record the voice message

12. Select stop to finish the recording.

13.Select green play button to listen and confirm recording.
[Optional] Add written text

14. Select Post.

15.Close tab/window once finished with the presentation.
