Grade Centre - Freeze Columns

This guide outlines the Grade Centre area within MyUni where course instructors can create columns for grade marking, record keeping and weighting purposes. Grade Centre provides controls for showing, hiding, moving and freezing columns of grades as well as uploading and downloading grades to/from the system. Grade Centre column settings allows the instructor to release or withhold grades from their students.

Freezing Columns

1. Under control panel scroll down and select Grade Centre then Full Grade Centre.

2. Select the left arrow to hide the course menu.

3. Hover the mouse over the Manage tab to show options.
4. Select Column Organisation.

On the Column Organization page there are two main views, the Shown in All Grade Centre Views and the Not in Grading Period views. Under each are column names and their details. Each column name has a check box and a cross hairs arrows to the left of it.

There is a frozen column area at the top of the Shown in All Grade Centre Views. Moving a column into that area will freeze the column ensuring it will be in all Grade Centre views.

5. Select hold and drag the cross hairs icon associated with column(s) you wish to move up or down the list of columns. These can be in either of the Shown in All Grade Centre Views and the Not in Grading Period views.
6. Release the column at the position within the frozen area you want the column to be moved to.

Add Column Submit

7. Select Submit.
