Geologist Dr Barry Cooper will present a talk on a century of uranium exploration in South Australia, focusing on the role of selected scientists.

The early contributions to uranium development of some eminent South Australians will be covered, including Nobel laureate Sir William Bragg, Antarctic explorer and geologist Sir Douglas Mawson and State Government geologist H.Y.L. Brown.

The talk is being hosted by the History of Science, Ideas and Technology Group.
