The CASR seminar series will address major topics in the fight to reduce road trauma and highlight the latest research in the area. Title: What's Happening in Road Safety Research In this seminar Professor Mary Lydon, the Director of CASR, will present an overview of current and planned road safety research at CASR including research into safer roads, safer vehicles, safer road users and safer speeds. She will also provide an overview of current directions in road safety research both in Australia and overseas and identify the types of countermeasures likely to have major impacts on road safety in the future.
