"The course of true love never did run smooth"

The University of Adelaide Theatre Guild is thrilled to present a student production of Shakespeare's most loved comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream for 11 performances in August. The cast will include 17 University of Adelaide and 2 Flinders University students and a production team comprising current students and graduates of the Adelaide College of the Arts.

Three years' research presented in just three minutes - that's the challenge of the inaugural Three Minute Thesis Competition finals being held on Open Day.

In a fun and free public forum, the 10 PhD student finalists will compete against the clock and each other to present their thesis topic and its significance.

The best research communicator will be decided by a panel of judges and the audience will select their 'people's choice' via free mobile phone voting.

Well-known science communicator Professor Rob Morrison will be MC on the day.

The Three Minute Thesis Competition final will be held at 2.30pm on Sunday 15 August in Scott Theatre at the University's North Terrace Campus.
