Speaker: Professor Keping Yu
Professor and Director of the China Center for Comparative Politics and Economics (Beijing); the Center for Chinese Government Innovations (Beijing University); and the Institute of Political Development, Qinghua University (Beijing)

Prof. Yu Keping will illustrate the recent development in China's governance reform and civil society. He will analyse the whole process of governance reform since 1978 in China, including achievements, breakthrough reforms, map line, dynamics and reform focus in the near future. He will also discuss the biggest challenges faced by the Chinese government today and give his own analysis and policy suggestions.

Experts in women's health will present a free public information evening to raise awareness of major health issues for women.

Specialists will discuss eight different health issues - such as contraception, infections, pregnancy and menopause - and members of the public will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The information evening is presented by the Adelaide Women's Health Centre, a new practice opened by the University of Adelaide on King William Road to provide quality medical care to women.
