Date/Time: Monday, 21 May 2012, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Location: Napier 102 lecture theatre, University of Adelaide, North Terrace Cost: Free Associate Professor Melissa de Zwart from the Adelaide Law School will address the fallout from WikiLeaks and the implications for freedom of speech and the internet as a global networked public sphere. Dr de Zwart will examine why public law has failed to silence WikiLeaks when the law of contract and the exercise of private regulation as been so successful. Her lecture will cover the legal and cultural context of the internet and why the small print should never be ignored.
