The School of Agriculture, Food & Wine and CSIRO invite you to get your hands dirty at the opening of the Waite Community Garden.
Plant some seeds, join the working group and get inspired to learn to grow food, share best practices and recipes.

The Annual Florey Lecture, "Diabetes and its Drivers: The Biggest Epidemic in Human History?"

The Florey Medical Research Foundation is pleased to welcome Professor Paul Zimmet. Paul Zimmet is a graduate of The University of Adelaide, Director Emeritus, Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Adjunct Professor, Monash and Pittsburgh Universities and an Honorary President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
He is internationally renowned in diabetes and obesity research and his research has been a major trigger in predicting and charting global type 2 diabetes epidemic. He has been listed in the Thomson Reuters "Worlds-most-influential-scientific-minds-2014" as one of only seven Australians of the 400 scientists in the "Clinical Medicine" category.
Prof Zimmet will present "Diabetes and its Drivers: The Biggest Epidemic in Human History?"
