Location: Level 3, The Hub

A sequel to Superheroes: Golden Vengeance, this photographic comic strip by Chris Herzfeld is on display on level 3 Hub until 31 October 2016 during Barr Smith Library hours.
Superheroes: Golden Vengeance and its sequel Superheroes: Toxic Debris are Parallax Graphic collaborations and form a collection focused on heroes.
The work analogises good vs evil and the archetype of heroes, and brings to the fore the daily bombardment of imagery and the interplay between sacred stories and crass consumerism in modern culture.

Mike Bowers, The Guardian Australia's Photographer at Large, will be in conversation with Professor John Williams, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research Operations.
Images of Justice is an annual photographic competition, led by the Adelaide Law School, to increase an understanding of, and interest in, law and legal education. This year's theme is portraiture.
Mike Bowers is the 2016 Images of Justice featured artist and he brings a wealth of experience from his long photographic career. He has a keen political photographic eye and a sharp wit to match so it will be a treat to hear him respond to an equally penetrating John Williams. The Images of Justice: A Portrait is a trigger for a closer look into the imagery that shapes discussion around justice and how it is viewed. On occasion the exhibition entries are more about injustice: what does that say about our thinking on the topic?
The Musing allows time for questions from the audience and the opportunity to put your position forward. So, have a think, bring your questions and join in a lively conversation.
