Join University of Adelaide staff, students, alumni and volunteers for the Hutt Street Centre's walk a mile in my boots on Friday 5 August 2016
Organised by the Hutt Street Centre, walk a mile in my boots is held annually during National Homelessness Prevention Week to support the 6,000 people in South Australia facing homelessness.
Walk a mile in my boots is an opportunity to experience what homeless and vulnerable people face each cold winter by walking the streets to find breakfast, a cup of tea and a hot shower.
We would like to invite all staff, students, alumni and volunteers to show their support for people facing homelessness by joining the University of Adelaide team to walk a mile from Victoria Park to South Terrace.
Register online and make sure you join the University of Adelaide team. Please email Tania Johnson to confirm your registration and to arrange collection of your free University of Adelaide beanie.
