World-renowned fertility expert and television presenter Professor Lord Robert Winston will give a free public lecture on Thursday, 9 March 2006.

Robert Winston is best known for his BBC series, The Human Body, Superhuman, and The Human Mind. His lecture, at 4-5pm at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, is part of the University of Adelaide's Womb to Tomb conference this week.

Lord Winston heads a leading human fertility research team, whose research into embryology and genetics is internationally recognised. His important contributions to reproductive medicine and reproductive genetics also address the social implications of the treatments developed.
