AGSB Research Seminar Series Monitoring Global Entrepreneurship Dr Kim Klyver, Westpac Post Doctoral Fellow in Entrepreneurship, is currently visiting the University of Adelaide from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (Swinburne University of Technology). Dr Klyver received his PhD from the University of Southern Denmark and has regularly published on small business management and entrepreneurship. Since 2000, he has also been part of both the Australian and Danish teams of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) research project led by the London Business School, UK and Babson College, USA (www.gemconsortium.org). This is currently the most extensive global exploration on entrepreneurship's role in national economic growth. Among other things, his presentation will cover the latest findings for research and policy that have come out from this study, that involves more than 40 countries, with the most recent report just released in January 2007.
