Stirring the Possum: A public, energetic forum to listen to some BIG minds in the climate change debate.

There are lots of things we can do locally in response to climate change ... but what are the BIG ideas that can tackle climate change globally?

Join our expert panel as they debate the BIG ideas and global directions in climate change.

  • David Engwicht, co-founder of Creative Communities International, Queensland, looks at best practice in street design, taming traffic and promoting active transportation
  • Peter Davies, Vice Chair of the Sustainable Development Commission, Wales, United Kingdom, shows how big business can achieve sustainable development
  • Elizabeth Heij, Facilitator of the CSIRO Sustainability Network, South Australia, shares her experience in building houses today that generate no electricity or water bills

The Department for Environment and Heritage, in partnership with CSIRO, University of Adelaide and the Premier's Round Table on Sustainability, presents Stirring the Possum, Climate Change ... What's the BIG idea?
