Join us to celebrate History Festival and Open House Adelaide, and tour some iconic building in the Waite Campus.

The Plant Accelerator: Open from 10am to 1pm
The Plant Accelerator is a national research facility providing state-of-the art infrastructure to grow plants and monitor their performance. During guided tours visitors will learn about our conveyor system used to image and water plants fully automatically and they will get an impression of the infrastructure required to operate a large scale greenhouse.

Urrbrae House:Open from 1pm to 4pm
Completed in 1891, Urrbrae House was one of the most significant private houses built in South Australia. See inside this magnificent house and enjoy the grounds gifted by pastoralist Peter Waite to the University of Adelaide for the establishment of the Waite Agricultural Research Institute.
