G030, Ground floor lecture theatre, Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is proud to present the Annual Florey Public Lecture with esteemed guest speaker Professor David Hunter. You are invited to hear Professor Hunter's talk Osteoarthritis: translating research into practice.

Over three million Australians are affected by osteoarthritis. It is the leading cause of disability and health service utilisation. With management of the disease predominately reactive, Australia is currently facing an exploding epidemic of chronic diseases.

Ranked as the world's leading expert in osteoarthritis, Professor Hunter will be sharing his research on a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of osteoarthritis--focusing specifically on disease prevention, and tailoring management to the needs of individual consumers and evidence-based health service delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from Professor Hunter about his multidisciplinary approach to osteoarthritis.
