Monday, 27 February 2006 Fringe fans will be provided with a spectacle of a different kind with Radio Adelaide 101.5fm's performance-broadcast from the balcony of the Exeter Hotel. Hosted by enthusiastic madcap presenters Marnie Round and Raymond Zada, Fringe Magnet will go live to air from the balcony of the popular pub from 3.30-5.30pm every day of the Festival. The constant stream of daily giveaways will include tickets to the highly sought-after Garden of Unearthly Delights. An amazing array of fringe mini-performances will entertain both radio listeners and pub patrons. Fringe fans keen to know which shows are not yet sold out, or any last minute discounts will be able to do so by tuning in. Producer Marit De Jager says that not only will Fringe Magnet be of great interest to Fringe fans, "it will allow audiences who for a whole host of reasons are unable to access the Fringe Festival to be a part of this iconic event!" Commencing Monday February 27, Fringe Magnet runs daily until Friday, March 10 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Radio Adelaide is part of the University of Adelaide. |
