Waking up will be a whole new experience for Adelaide radio listeners in 2005!

Radio Adelaide's new breakfast host Lisa Leong is a tiny dynamo with a career that includes working as a lawyer in Australia and England and experience in hospital, community and commercial radio.

Lisa presents from 6.30am to 9am every Monday to Thursday, with longstanding breakfast favourite Jonathan Lucraft hosting on Fridays.

She says she loves radio because of a passion for sharing people's stories, opinions and ideas. "I love interview-based radio and that's what our Breakfast show is all about," she says.

"It's Adelaide's best alternative for local national and international currents affairs, culture, ideas and issues for us in our city and a great wide world of music."

Radio Adelaide Manager Deborah Welch says the show is "just what Adelaide listeners have been missing. It's engaged with ideas and issues, it's smart and it's energizing."

Breakfast also has some great new regulars. Be amazed by MC Frost and "The Rap Up". Every Thursday Lisa challenges him with three key words from the week's events and he has 30 minutes to come up with a rap that summarises the week so far.

Or meet Tubby Justice, well-known Adelaide songstress, here sharing her other love - food and cooking. Wednesday mornings she's your "Kitchen Hand". Or big and small screen news with Ben McEachern on Tuesdays and Nick Prescott every Friday.
