Have a cuppa - and break a world record!

Wednesday, 25 May 2005

Radio Adelaide's brekky program "Breakfast with Lisa Leong" and the Cancer Council Australia asks Adelaideans to support Australia's Biggest Morning Tea TOMORROW (Thursday, May 26) -- and help break a world record!

101.5FM Radio Adelaide, a registered host, will be providing morning tea at its studios at 228 North Terrace, Adelaide (opposite the Art Gallery) from 8am til 9am during "Breakfast with Lisa Leong". Come and grab a hot drink, donate to a worthy cause and chat on the radio during our brekky program!

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is registered with Guinness World Records to break the record for the "World's Largest Simultaneous Tea Party".

The Cancer Council Australia is the nation's leading cancer charity and is committed to the prevention and control of cancer and to supporting those affected by the disease.

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is one of its foremost fundraising events and is the largest, most successful event of its kind in Australia. More than a million people will participate in the event this year, with the aim of raising more than $7 million.

The funds raised during Australia's Biggest Morning Tea are vitally important. Donations sustain The Cancer Council Australia's cancer research initiatives, education programs and support services for those diagnosed with cancer, their families and carers.
