Wednesday, 6 January 1999 Prospective university students will have access to expert advice at a Course Information Evening at the University of Adelaide tomorrow evening (7 January). Three sessions - the first beginning at 5pm at the Scott Theatre off Kintore Avenue - will offer students and their families information about course preferences, entry requirements for 1999, the University's $15 million scholarships scheme, enrolment procedures and more. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Adelaide, Professor Mary O'Kane, said the information evening was a chance for prospective students to clarify any concerns they might have, as well as have their questions answered by the University's course advisers. "These information sessions always attract large numbers of prospective students and their families," Professor O'Kane said. "Students are faced with some complex decisions at this time of the year and we are committed to providing the information students need, including through face-to-face contact with our advisers." Demand is high so those who want to attend must reserve a place at one of the sessions by calling the University's information hotline on 1800 061 459 (toll-free). WHAT: COURSE INFORMATION EVENING |
