Dr Charles Pearce promoted to Professor

The Vice-Chancellor Professor James McWha has approved the recommendation that Dr Charles Pearce, Reader in the School of Applied Mathematics, be promoted to Professor (Level E), effective July 2003.

Dr Pearce, a Fellow of the Australian Mathematical Society since 1995, was awarded the premier ANZIAM Medal by the Society for contributions to Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 2002.

He commenced at the University of Adelaide as a Senior Lecturer in 1971 and promoted to Reader (Level D) in 1982.
