University of Adelaide welcomes new Education Minister |

The University of Adelaide today welcomed the appointment of one of its own graduates as the new Federal Minister for Education, Science and Training. The Hon. Julie Bishop was born and educated in South Australia and completed a Bachelor of Laws [1] at the University of Adelaide in 1978. The University of Adelaide's Vice-Chancellor, Professor James McWha, said, "We are delighted to see one of our graduates in this important position and I look forward to working with her." | |
