Important Information on Enrolments

Refund and Cancellation Conditions
Non-award students:

  • are eligible to receive a full refund of their tuition fees if the University is unable to provide the course or courses for which they have paid.
  • are eligible to receive a full refund of their tuition fees if they withdraw from a course or courses before the Census Date.
  • who withdraw from a course or courses after the Census Date are normally not eligible for a refund of their tuition fees. They should consult the University's Refund Of Tuition Fees In Special Circumstances Policy for information on circumstances in which refunds may be offered after the census date.

More information on fees and refunds is available in the Student Tuition Fees Policy (for domestic students), and the Refund Policy for International Students.

Course Pre-requisites and Statement of Assumed Knowledge

There are educational requirements (identified as course pre-requisites) for some courses. To enrol in the course, non-award students must possess assumed knowledge equivalent to these educational requirements and must sign a declaration to this effect on their application form. If you are unsure if you have the necessary background to undertake the course, please contact the Course Advisor at the relevant Faculty or School before submitting your application.

Closing Dates and Lodgement

The Application and Enrolment Form must be lodged at the relevant faculty by the end of the second teaching week of the semester. However, many tutorial and workshop times may be full by this time so it is recommended you submit your form as early as possible.
