Fieldwork is undertaken by qualified and experienced OEH professionals. Detailed reports are provided with practical recommendations for improvement of the work environment.

Field services include:

  • Noise surveys
  • Lighting surveys
  • Heat stress surveys

Laboratory Services

  • Glove and CPC permeation testing
  • Skin absorption of chemicals (In vitro testing, OECD protocol)
  • PPE service life evaluations
  • NEW - Microbiological sample analyis (Contact Dr Sharyn Gaskin or Dr Michael Taylor)

 

Chemical Analyses (HPLC, GC, GC-MS)

(isocyanates, aldehydes, volatile organic compounds, phenols, cytotoxic drugs etc.)

Desktop Services - Literature Reviews, Preparation of Safety Data Sheets etc.

The OEH Laboratory is fully networked with the University Library and has access to numerous Occupational Health Databases, Standards and Electronic Literature. We can undertake literature reviews, prepare safety data sheets, guidance materials, reviews of safety management systems and injury data. Affiliated staff have considerable expertise in systematic reviews, data management and statistical analysis.
