The opportunities for university graduates from all disciplines to turn their knowledge and skills into their own commercial ventures are increasing due to the trends and opportunities that are presented by a dynamic modern economy.

New technologies, the growth of service industries and of small 'high tech' or information based enterprises, restructuring, increased competition, down-sizing and globalisation present a new challenge to graduates to be enterprising, entrepreneurial and innovative.

The Office of Industry Liaison manages a range of programs which are designed to introduce graduates to business development.
