Summer Industry PlacementsThe Summer Industry Placements program provides structured workplace experience for a student over a six week period during the summer vacation. Students work for approximately 200 hours on an industry research project. The student will be placed with an Industry Partner who is responsible for the student's work during the project period. A stipend of $2,500 will be made to the student in two installments. Company wishing to have a student undertake a project should use the Company Project Registration Form to lodge their project details by no later than November each year. The cost for the student's services is $3,000 GST inclusive. Students will be placed with companies through the December-January period.
