Multicultural Week 2003 - Cultural SaladThe 2003 M-Week was called 'Multicultural Salad' and it was the highlight of the OSA's activities for the year. It provides the chance for the students at this University to celebrate the cultural diversity found in Adelaide and at this University. The Barr-Smith lawn was filled with craft and food stalls from India, Malaysia, Ethiopia.. Every day there were various live performances of traditional dances and music. The days were filled with bagpipes, song, guitar, belly dancing, martial arts and more. There were also games including tug-o-war, piñata smashing, and quizzes on multicultural trivia and what food is eaten in different countries. These were all rewarded with show bags and prizes. M-Week is both a good time and a chance to allow everyone to experience the 'Multicultural Salad' that is our world. ![]()
