2004
O'Camp
February 20-22, 2004
The O'Camp for 2004 was held at Woodhouse Activity Centre in Picadilly,
South Australia. The campers left from the University on Friday evening
and arrived at the Old Bunkhouse. After a welcome talk outlining the rules
and a hearty dinner, the campers were divided into groups and started to
get to know each other. Then the games began with Stalk the Lantern. On
Saturday the action continued with banner painting, an obstacle course
and lots of different relay events. Other activities included skits, Celebrity
Heads and a Quiz- all interpersed with eating of course. On the final day
everyone cleaned up camp, exchanged phone numbers and particpiated in the
final event, Prize-giving. While this year's camp was low on numbers, it
was high in fun and provided a real opportunity for the campers and OSA
council members and volunteers to get to know each other.
