OSA Domino's Pizza Competition Pizza Eating Challenge

The OSA would like to thank its sponsor, Domino's Pizza Malvern for their support of the event. We suggest that you all go to them and feed up (more slowly than shown here, though).

On a sunny autumn afternoon, the OSA staged an event that crowned the champions of gluttony and speed eating at the University of Adelaide, in the vein of the International Federation of Competition Eating.

32 teams of three individuals lined up for the event, competing for a selection of prizes that were designed only to add to the beer guts that every international student ought to develop before returning home, as proof of their stay in Australia...

The rules were simple:
1. The entire pizza must be consumed by only the three team members.
2. All the pizza must be eaten - ie - no wastage and you MUST eat the crusts.
3. The winner of each heat is the team that consumes the entire pizza first.
4. What goes down, must stay down. If you vomit, you lose.
5. No drinking whilst eating. You may drink between rounds, but not whilst competing.
6. The two finalist teams must consume two pizzas each for the final.

After much stuffing, cramming and even vomiting pizza up and eating it again (see the picture at the top of the page), a winning team was declared. The "Pussy Eyeballs", who were Clint and two other funny looking guys, beat the "Hungry Hungry Hippos" of Dave, Matt and Matt (equally as funny looking) to win the title. Did anybody really care? Who knows - the crowed highlight was clearly the regurgitated pizza eating, so everything else fades into oblivion. As the guilty party was from the winning team, they showed that they even cared about pleasing the crowd (and making it feel ill...)
