Clinical Laboratory Services

• The adjacent Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS) is able to perform both the routine screening tests as well as the more unusual tests, with a rapid turn around time for standard laboratory tests and urine and serum drug screening. Laboratories are fully accredited.

Pharmacogenetics

• Screening for relatively routine assays such as those for cytochrome P450 polymorphism are performed at the IMVS. Specialised pharmacogenetic assays eg. for drug transporters is performed in the Pharmacology Discipline at the University of Adelaide.

Bioanalysis

• There is a range of laboratories able to undertake bioanalysis in Adelaide. We have staff trained in IATA 650 regulations who are experienced with sample preparation and shipment.

Trial Monitoring

• We have good relationships with both large international companies and small local monitoring organisations. PARC can also provide a monitoring service at competitive rates to ensure regulatory and licensing requirements are met.

Statistics and Data Management

• We work with a range of outsourcing providers for statistics and data management.
